introduction:

【Main Ingredient】Ampicillin Sodium

【Properties】This product is a white or off-white powder or crystalline powder.

【Pharmacological Effects】Pharmacodynamics: Ampicillin belongs to the beta-lactam class of antibiotics and has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. It is sensitive to penicillinase, thus ineffective against penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It has a strong effect on Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Brucella, and Pasteurella, but these bacteria are prone to develop drug resistance; it is not sensitive to Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Pharmacokinetics: Amoxicillin is rapidly absorbed after injection, with a high blood concentration but also a rapid decline. The initial concentration for intramuscular or subcutaneous injection is relatively low. After an intramuscular injection of 10mg/kg, the blood concentration can reach 14.54 pg/ml at 5 minutes, and the peak blood concentration is reached at 14 minutes.

18.46 μg/ml. Intramuscular injection. The elimination half-life in horses is 1.21 to 2.23 hours, while in water buffaloes, yellow cattle, pigs, and dairy goats, it is 0.5 to 1.5 hours. Intravenous injection, the elimination half-life in horses, cattle, sheep, and dogs is 0.6 to 1.6 hours, so the elimination in the body is relatively fast. Probenecid can delay the excretion of this drug, increasing the blood drug concentration and prolonging the half-life.

【Drug Interactions】 (1) Amoxicillin sodium has contraindications when used in combination with the following drugs: ethylerthomycin, lactobacillin, oxytetracycline hydrochloride, tetracycline hydrochloride, chlortetracycline hydrochloride, kanamycin sulfate, gentamicin sulfate, streptomycin sulfate, lincomycin hydrochloride, polymyxin B sulfate, calcium chloride, calcium gluconate, B vitamins, vitamin C, etc.

(2) When this product is used in combination with aminoglycoside antibiotics, it can increase the concentration of the latter within the bacterial cells, resulting in a synergistic effect.

(3) Rapid-acting antibacterial agents such as macrolides, tetracyclines and aminoglycosides may interfere with the bactericidal effect of this product and should not be used in combination.

[Function and Use] β-lactam antibiotics. Used for treating infections caused by bacteria sensitive to ampicillin.

【Usage and Dosage】Based on ampicillin. Intramuscular and intravenous injection: The dosage for each administration is 10-20 mg per 1 kg of body weight. Administer 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days.

【Adverse Reactions】This class of drugs may cause allergic reactions that are not related to the dosage. These reactions include rash, fever, increased eosinophils, decreased white blood cells and platelets, anemia, lymph node disorders, or systemic allergic reactions.

【Important Note】This product is sensitive to penicillin enzymes and should not be used for treating infections caused by penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

【Withdrawal Period】 6 days for cattle, 15 days for pigs; Milk withdrawal period: 48 hours.

【Specification】 Calculated as C1sH1, NOS (1) 0.5g (2) 1.0g (3) 2.0g
